Blogging Anonymity vs. Accountability
May

For the past six months or so, I have enjoyed blogging every few weeks on a variety of matters, some of which are straightforward and others that are weightier. I have always appreciated those who take the time to comment regardless of what position is taken and to date, every comment forwarded to me has been posted on this website.
With very few exceptions, comments on my blogs have been accompanied by the name of the author. However, some have chosen to post responses under the cloak of anonymity leaving us to wonder why, if one feels so strongly about an issue, he or she would omit their name.
In the interest of civility and open dialogue any future comments forwarded without a name, regardless of the contents, will no longer be posted on this website.
Clearly this does not preclude one from commenting on my blog elsewhere in cyberspace but, absent a name, it wont appear on this page. Just to be clear, I welcome - encourage healthy, spirited dialogue that is also civil, respectful and open.
